Tha Ruea Shrine

It is a religious site that collects knowledge about the Chinese ancestors who traveled to Phuket Province. Those Chinese ancestors brought their beliefs and rituals for the people of Phuket to practice. For example, when it is the Vegetarian Festival, the people of Phuket will join the ceremony here as well. Located at 169 Thepkasattri Road, Tambon Si Sunthon, Amphoe Thalang, Phuket Province, open for visits from 8 am to 5 pm.
Tha Ruea Shrine has the principal Buddha image of Phra Po Seng Tai Te (Hong Jin Yin). Hong Jin Yin is a traditional Chinese medicine doctor who specializes in herbal medicine treatment. He uses the Mae method, which is to take the pulse on the patient's wrist, which is considered a fairly accurate disease analysis. Hong Jin Yin inherited the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine from his family and cured many patients, so he is called the "God of Life".
