Pingtan Changjiang'ao! Seaview Villa! Stay for three consecutive days

Here’s a 3-day 2-night guide to chasing the Blue Tears on Pingtan Island! This hidden gem of an island is truly a treasure—you can enjoy stunning sea views and the dreamy Blue Tears without the crowds💧

Day 1️⃣
📍Longwangtou Beach: The most famous beach on Pingtan Island and an excellent spot to watch the sunrise🌅 The sand is fine and clean, perfect for photos and check-ins
📍Haitan Ancient City: A charming cluster of traditional buildings, especially beautiful when lit up at night. You can buy some souvenirs to take home🎁

Day 2️⃣
📍68 Nautical Miles Scenic Area: The closest point on the mainland to Taiwan, only 68 nautical miles away! It’s very windy, so bring a jacket
📍Elephant Trunk Bay: You need to visit at low tide to see the full elephant trunk shape. The aerial shots are stunning (ps: bringing a drone is recommended)

Day 3️⃣
📍Beigang Cultural and Creative Village: Has a strong Taiwanese small-town vibe, with lots of creative shops and cozy cafes to explore☕
📍Changjiang'ao Windmill Field: Rows of windmills plus spectacular sea views, breathtaking at sunset😭

🌟Make sure to remember these tips!
1️⃣ The season to see the Blue Tears is from April to June, with the highest chance in April. Keep an eye on the forecast
2️⃣ You can rent an electric scooter to circle the island, costing about 100-150 RMB/day
3️⃣ The wind is really strong! It’s recommended to bring a windproof jacket and hat
4️⃣ For accommodation, it’s best to stay near Longfengtou for convenience and to catch the sunrise early

🍽Food recommendations:
✅ Shilaiyunzhuan: A Pingtan specialty snack, somewhat like an oversized mochi
✅ Xianmishi: A snack made with rice batter filled with seafood
✅ Minnan Hu: A hearty noodle soup with plenty of ingredients, very filling
✅ Plus, seafood here is really cheap—you can enjoy a variety of fresh seafood for about 50 RMB per person🦀
