Adventure in Xiao Liuqiu (Part 1)

After leaving Zuoying High-Speed Rail Station in Kaohsiung, I took the 9127D bus directly to Donggang! Upon arriving in Donggang, the first thing I did was rush to the nearby seafood market 🦐. There, hidden in the corners of the market, are seafood processing shops with staff standing at the entrance to attract customers! Here, you can freely choose from a variety of fresh seafood in the market and then take it to the processing shop for the chef to cook!

Next, I headed to the nearby port to catch a ferry 🚢! The ferry departs approximately every 20 minutes, so remember to buy your tickets online in advance for discounts and savings. After about a 20-minute ferry ride, you will arrive at the dreamy Xiao Liuqiu! Upon arrival, the first thing to do is rent a scooter to explore the island. You have two options:
• Renting a scooter at the port is cheaper, but the scooters are older.
• Renting directly from a guesthouse is more expensive, but the scooters are newer, and some are even electric, which is super eco-friendly and easy to ride!

Once you arrive, the first thing to do is watch the stunning sunset 🌅! Standing next to the Sunset Pavilion, you can watch the boats slowly sail by as the sunset paints the entire sky red. The scenery is perfect for taking breathtaking photos. Even cuter, there's an adorable little cat by the Sunset Pavilion that always comes over for some petting! If you don't want to squeeze in the open air for a spot, you can head to a nearby restaurant, order some pasta or risotto, and enjoy a romantic experience of dining while watching the sunset 😍!

In the evening, you must visit Xiao Liuqiu's most famous bar for some fun! Each bar has its unique style, but remember, the exciting performances are only on Saturday nights!
