Kenting: A Summer Dream at Taiwan's Southernmost Point

If you ask me where you must visit in Taiwan, it has to be Kenting! 😭 I promise you won’t regret going there 🫰🏻 Even after being back for days, I still miss it so much 😔

🫡🫡🫡 I visited during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.

🚌 Itinerary:
1️⃣ From Kaohsiung Zuoying Station, you can take the Kenting Express. Using an EasyCard will save you a lot of money! I recommend staying in a South Bay sea-view room—open the window and you’ll see the jelly-like ocean 🏖️.

2️⃣ Exploring Kenting by scooter is a must 🛵! Rent an electric scooter and follow the routes: East Line in the morning and West Line in the afternoon. Don’t forget to visit Mountain Man Café to watch the sunset 🌄.

3️⃣ For dinner, head to Hengchun Town 🍜. There are plenty of options, and the prices are very reasonable.

4️⃣ Staying for two nights is more than enough. Allocate a full day for riding around, as the distances aren’t too far. However, it’s very sunny, so you’ll need time to rest ☀️.

🌊 Kenting is truly amazing—blue skies, white clouds, sea breeze, and the freedom to explore. You’ll feel completely relaxed. Remember to bring sunscreen and water; the sun is intense.

Be cautious when riding downhill on the scooter and keep a steady grip.
