Another set of beautiful Malaysian islands, no better no worse than many of the others - I find it difficult to pick a favourite - none are perfect, all have been worth visiting. Kecil island, where we stayed, was lovely, on the west side, near Rainforest Beach - it was quiet at the midway point and lots of beautiful rainforest and beaches and charm. Again, some of the resorts are a little 'heavy', but there are plenty of places to retreat to. The east side of the island, with Long Beach, was too noisy, busy and built up. We arranged transport with our hotel, who picked us up at the airport and took us to the island, RM250, round-trip. It was a good value well organised option. Perhentians are worth a visit - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sea and views.
