Aga khan palace in Pune Maharashtra

Aga Khan Palace is situated 7 km away from the heart of the Pune city. It was once the site where Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi, as well as Sarojini Naidu and Mahadev Desai were held prisoners.There are museum like rooms that have the details of his time here, the stories of the freedom struggle and of the other movers and shakers of that time. Silent atmosphere and to much greenery all around the palace. Well maintained. Must Visit. Very well maintained property with all important events related to Gandhi and his wife. Multiple rooms with displays are there and lots of information is provided. There is a lovely garden area outside to chill and relax, washrooms are also there. Great for school trips and outings or people who are history enthusiasts.
