- Transportation: There are direct flights to Pyongyang Sunan International Airport from Beijing, Shenyang, and other cities. You can also take a bus from Dandong across the Yalu River to Sinuiju, and then transfer to a train. The subway system within the city is convenient, with a flat fare of 5 North Korean won for the entire journey. Buses and taxis are also available.
- Attractions: Kim Il-sung Square is where celebrations and military parades are held. Mangyongdae is the place of birth of Kim Il-sung, with a memorial and a park. Various kimchi are also available, offering a spicy and appetizing experience.
- Shopping: You can buy unique souvenirs at the Friendship Store in Pyongyang, such as stamps, traditional handicrafts, and North Korean clothing.
- Precautions: North Korea has a dual pricing system, and tourists shop at designated stores for foreigners, where prices are higher. You need to respect local culture and customs and refrain from taking photos at will, especially those involving military or government buildings. You are not allowed to bring items that may damage North Korea's image into the country.
