Qingdao Catholic Cathedral was one of the places I most anticipated during my Qingdao trip! The first thing that caught my eye upon arrival was its magnificent Gothic-style facade. The blue towers soared toward the sky, and the yellow brick building immediately caught my eye from afar. It had a European feel within China, and I was truly impressed from the moment I saw it.😃

The square in front of the cathedral was quite spacious and lively. There were couples taking wedding photos and many tourists, but the cathedral itself felt quiet and peaceful. The interior was smaller than I expected, but the natural light streaming in from the stained glass windows created a mystical atmosphere. Perhaps because it's both a tourist attraction and a religious space, I found myself naturally keeping my voice down.

After touring the cathedral, I took a leisurely stroll around the area. The buildings near the cathedral also retained German-style architecture, making it a nice place to explore. It's a place you can explore leisurely without spending a lot of time, and it's a great place to experience Qingdao's historical atmosphere, so it was a great stop during my trip~🫠
