Recommended by a friend, the Qingyuan rice field homestay! I really struck gold! I originally just wanted a quiet place to relax, but once I arrived, I didn’t want to leave—this isn’t just staying at a homestay, it’s like bringing the word “healing” to life!
The moment I entered the homestay, I was amazed by the vast rice fields! Rows of lush green stretch to the horizon, with layers of mountains in the distance. Standing there and taking a deep breath, all the city stress instantly vanished. The air is filled with the scent of nature—no wonder it’s a natural oxygen bar transformed from a small village.
The courtyard hot spring suite we stayed in really hit the spot! The interior is naturally elegant, paired with a small green courtyard. The blend of old house and new design creates just the right touch of light luxury. The highlight is the private hot spring soaking pool in the room! Soaking in the natural silicate hot spring in winter, as steam rises, all the pressure melts away. Plus, with floor heating in the room, you’re warm from head to toe, and walking barefoot is so comfortable! The room also comes with tea sets, so after soaking, you can sit in the courtyard and enjoy tea while watching the blue sky and white clouds—so cozy you’ll want to stay forever~
The food is even more surprising! You must visit the "Youtian" Western restaurant! The floor-to-ceiling glass windows face the rice fields and mountains, and you can enjoy “farm-to-table” dishes made with local Qingyuan ingredients. Your eyes and taste buds get a vacation at the same time—this is what life is all about! There’s also the "Micang" Chinese restaurant, where Qingyuan chicken is a must-order! Every dish uses local ingredients and surprisingly continues the exquisite style of Baiyue Hotel. Dinner here is not just a meal, it’s a little poetic moment in life~
The public areas are also packed with charm! The Sanhe Academy is full of design flair; sitting there reading with a view of the lush rice fields instantly refreshes your mind. There’s also the Night Hill bar and a gym, so whether you want to move or relax, it’s up to you. Oh, and on weekends, you can catch singing bowl meditation and yoga classes. If you come in spring, it’s even more fitting—a perfect mind and body healing experience~
Whether you’re from around Guangzhou or the Pearl River Delta, if you want to escape the city on weekends, bring your family for a trip, or just want to relax, this place is definitely a great choice! Soaking by the rice fields, watching the mountains, eating delicious food—turns out healing yourself is this simple~
