Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden is located on the west outskirts of Guiyang City by Hongfeng Lake and is known as "the most beautiful cherry blossom garden on the blue planet." Here is a travel guide of about 600 words:
Best Time to Visit
The peak blooming period of Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden is from mid-March to mid-April each year. At this time, the early cherry blossoms are pure white like snow, and the late cherry blossoms are pink and delicate. Over 700,000 cherry trees bloom simultaneously, creating a visual feast lasting about a month.
Transportation Guide
Self-driving is recommended. Navigate to "Gui'an Cherry Blossom Garden." There are multiple parking lots inside the park, with a parking fee of about 10 yuan. You can also take bus routes 701 or 702 from Guiyang to "Gui'an Administrative Committee Station," then transfer to the park shuttle bus.
Must-Visit Attractions
- Fanying Square: Located southwest of the Visitor Center, it is the largest contiguous early cherry blossom sea in the southwest part of the park. During the blooming period, it presents a visual impact of "pink snow covering the ground," where you can experience the romance of "cherry blossom snow."
- Huayang Peak Viewing Platform: The highest point in the park, located north of the Visitor Center. From the top, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the waves of cherry blossoms and the shimmering Hongfeng Lake. The distant mountains look like ink paintings, and the scenery during morning mist or sunset resembles an Impressionist painting.
- Manying Garden: Located in the southern part of the park, northwest of the Visitor Center, it is the area with the highest planting density and the largest scale of cherry blossoms. White early cherry blossoms and pink late cherry blossoms bloom alternately, presenting a beautiful "layered cloud-like" scene.
- Yingman Tea Garden: Located in the northern part of the park, adjacent to Yingxue Road, this 400-acre ecological tea garden combined with cherry blossoms and plum blossoms creates a unique "pink cherry blossoms dotting green" landscape.
