Stayed in Beidaihe 10 times, and finally found a pool courtyard next to Laohushi!

On this trip to Beidaihe, I immediately chose this "Xiangyu Rush Summer Pool Courtyard" when picking accommodation, and after staying here, I realized I made the right choice. I want to share it with everyone.

First, the location is really convenient! The place is right next to Laohushi Seaside Park. I measured the distance with my phone, and it’s only about a 5-minute walk. You can leisurely stroll over to see the sea in the morning after waking up, and in the evening, walk on the sand to watch the sunset and then come back—no need to hassle with taxis at all. Plus, just a few steps from the door are seafood stalls. If you want fresh seafood at night, you can just slip on your slippers and go. We also found a super popular steamed seafood restaurant nearby, and the taste was amazing. Oh, and for those driving, don’t worry—the courtyard has free parking and charging stations. Just navigate by the name of the place, and it’s very easy to find.

Now about the facilities in the courtyard, my favorite is definitely the outdoor pool! It’s open from 9 AM to 8 PM every day, and the water looks very clean, probably changed daily. In the evening, soaking in the pool while watching the sunset clouds, even casual photos come out great. There’s also a cloud swing in the courtyard. My friends and I took turns sitting on it to take pictures and had a blast.

If you don’t want to go out, you won’t be bored here either. There’s a KTV for singing and a pool table, making it lively. It’s also suitable for families with kids, as there’s a dedicated children’s area with ocean balls and Lego. Kids can play there all afternoon, and parents can relax a bit.

I chose the terrace king room. The bed is huge, perfect for two people, and the bedding is clean and comfortable. In the morning, when you open the curtains, you can see the courtyard view, which really lifts your mood.

The bathroom has a dry and wet separation and a smart toilet, with great attention to detail. Also, there’s a shared kitchen in the courtyard, so if you want to cook yourself, it’s easy to buy some seafood and prepare it here. There’s also a laundry room, so you can wash your clothes right away without bringing dirty clothes home.

What impressed me most was the thoughtful service. Even before check-in, the housekeeper contacted me proactively, told me about the recent weather in Beidaihe, advised me to bring a light jacket, and recommended some must-visit spots. During the stay, if you have any needs, just tell the front desk, and someone will quickly help. The hygiene is also excellent—rooms, pool, and public areas are all very clean, making the stay very reassuring.

Overall, my experience at this courtyard was especially good—great location, complete facilities, and thoughtful service. Next time I come to Beidaihe, I will definitely choose this place again!
