Puzhehei Xianren Cave Village is so beautiful yet surprisingly uncrowded!

Before coming, I didn’t find many notes that really excited me during my research, and I almost gave up on today’s itinerary. Luckily, I came with a casual mindset to just walk around and see!

I really like this kind of village where indigenous people and tourism develop harmoniously. Every step offers pleasing scenery on top of the warm human touch. I truly envy the people living here—nestled by the mountains and water, with convenient transportation, living and working in peace.

Even during the Qingming holiday, there’s no crowding, but it’s not too quiet either. For me, it’s just perfect.

Arriving in the village in the afternoon, I took advantage of the soft evening light to walk and take photos. After the sun set, I found a local restaurant to fill my stomach, then stayed overnight at a lake-view guesthouse. Everything was just right!
