Japanese-style teppanyaki fried rice, a favorite among locals

A diverse Japanese culinary culture has naturally taken root in the Philippines.
Pepper Lunch, a franchise restaurant originating in Japan,
is famous for its Japanese-style fried rice, which is prepared directly on the teppan (iron griddle).
Once you order, rice, meat, and vegetables are brought out on a sizzling teppan.
The meticulous detail of wrapping the edges of the teppan with paper to prevent oil splattering is impressive.
By mixing the meat, rice, and sauce directly on the sizzling teppan, you can enjoy the fun of cooking while enjoying a warm meal.
The menu is simple, yet delicious, making it a dish most people can enjoy.
Until now, Pepper Lunch was mainly available in food courts in shopping malls,
but this time, I visited a full-fledged brick-and-mortar location.
I was very impressed with the spacious and clean seating, diverse menu, friendly staff, and prompt service.
If you're looking to experience Japanese teppan fried rice in the Philippines,
I highly recommend visiting a Pepper Lunch location.
