[Edge of the World (Jebel Fihrayn)]

[Edge of the World (Jebel Fihrayn) | Riyadh "A 270° spectacular view overlooking the edge of the earth"]

— A cliff of about 300m continues endlessly. The desert that stretches to the horizon evokes a sense of unreality as if standing on the "edge of the world" —

About 120km northwest of Riyadh, Jebel Fihrayn is part of the Tuwayq Escarpment, and the 305m high rock walls continue. It is a spot that looks great on social media with its overwhelming natural scenery called "the edge of the earth" .

📍[Location and Access]
About 1-2 hours by car from the center of Riyadh. The road is unpaved and rocky, so a 4WD or SUV is essential.

The off-road road has buffer gates, which are often open on weekends (Friday and Saturday).

🕰️ [Best time]

Sunrise and sunset in winter (October to March) are cool and beautiful, and the photos are great (). Morning and evening tours are also popular.

✨ Recommended points

• Spectacular cliff views: The red desert land seen from the top of the cliff is truly an overwhelming "edge" experience!
• Light hiking: There are trails that take about 2 hours each way, walking on the cliffs and descending into the valley below.
• Camping and stargazing: It's safe at night, and perfect for stargazing photography (tours with dinner and camping are also popular).
• Romance of geology: You can feel the history of how the strata that were once the sea rose up and formed the cliffs.

🎒 Tips
• Go by 4WD or SUV: A car that can withstand unpaved roads and rocky paths is essential ()
• Water and snacks are essential: There are no shops in the desert. Make sure you bring plenty of drinks and snacks!
• Choosing the right time is key: It's too hot during the day, so aim for early morning or late afternoon. Be careful of cold nights in winter.
• We recommend using a tour: The roads are difficult to find, so a shuttle + guided tour is safe and efficient.
