Colosseum, Rome, Italy Travel

I traveled to Italy for sightseeing, and Rome was my first destination. I stayed at the NH Collection Roma Fori Imperiali hotel, which is in a great location close to historic monuments, and the price per night was about $320. My trip started with a visit to the Colosseum, one of the most famous landmarks in the world, whose size and design reflect the power and history of the Roman Empire.

I bought an entrance ticket with an audio guide for about $20 and entered without a long queue. The place is well-organized, with pictures showing the history and ancient uses of the amphitheater. After the visit, I walked to the nearby Roman Forum with the same ticket.

Transportation in Rome is easy; I used the subway and taxis, and a daily subway ticket was about $7. The experience in Rome is a blend of history and art, with every corner telling a story.
