Not only is the village super exciting, but the hotel's mahjong room is a hidden gem that instantly wins you over!

A while ago, I came to Rongjiang specifically to watch the Guizhou Village Super, and I booked this Guizhou Village Super Hotel right next to the village super stadium. I didn’t expect to be completely won over by its mahjong room! If you’re also a mahjong enthusiast, just listen to my recommendation~

This hotel is right next to the village super stadium, just a 5-minute walk to the arena—super convenient. After watching the game, we just strolled back to the hotel and started playing mahjong without rushing. It was so relaxing! The hotel’s overall decor is quite new, the rooms are especially clean, and the mahjong room is ridiculously spacious—four people can sit around and play all night without feeling cramped.

Highlights of their mahjong room: 1️⃣ The mahjong table is a high-end electric model, with quiet shuffling that won’t disturb the neighbors 2️⃣ The room provides free bottled water and snacks, so you can enjoy eating while playing 3️⃣ The beds are clean and comfortable; after staying up until 2 a.m. playing, you can sleep right away with no unpleasant odors 4️⃣ The bathroom has a dry and wet separation, so after a hot shower you can easily start a second round of mahjong without any hassle

The service is also excellent. The front desk knew we came to watch the village super and specially recommended some delicious sour soup fish and griddle cakes near the stadium. On checkout day, I realized I forgot my charger, and the cleaning lady went out of her way to bring it to the lobby—so heartwarming~

Travel tips:
1️⃣ It’s best to book 1-2 weeks in advance, especially during village super matches when rooms are hard to get
2️⃣ The hotel has a dedicated parking lot, so self-driving guests don’t have to worry about parking
3️⃣ Nearby late-night snacks are available until dawn, so after watching the game and playing mahjong, you can still grab some skewers
4️⃣ Remember to check in advance if the mahjong room includes an automatic mahjong table, as some room types charge extra

Overall, this is definitely the best value accommodation in Rongjiang, especially for people like us who love both watching games and playing mahjong—it’s simply perfect! Next time I come to watch the village super, I’ll definitely stay here again~
