When you think of the spectacular sight of balloons, some people may think of Cappadocia in Turkey, but you can also see the spectacular sight of balloons in Japan✨✨Today, I would like to introduce the "Saga International Balloon Fiesta" held in Saga Prefecture.
This event is one of the largest balloon festivals in Asia, held in early November. It is not just an event to fly balloons, but a competition! The sight of balloons lined up on the riverbed and taking off is truly spectacular‼ ️
Also, countless balloons are flying from the mountains😍It is also a spectacular sight that makes you scream😆However, it is quite difficult to see this event properly💦So, in this post, I will mainly tell you the following three points!

▪️Notes for participating in the event--------[Participate in the morning! ]As you may have noticed, this is an event that starts early in the morning☀️The reason why it is so early is that if the winds above are strong, the balloons cannot fly! The wind is relatively weak in the morning, so there is a high possibility of flying them‼ ️Therefore, since there is a higher chance that a competition flight will not take place in the afternoon than in the morning, we recommend participating in the morning if possible⚠️
[Book at least 2 days! 】Actually, you might think it would be okay in the morning, but that's not the case💦 Although it is held every day, it may not be held depending on the wind🚨 The decision is also confirmed around 6:30 in the morning, so even if you go, it may not be possible. Please be aware of this in advance🙏 I also took two days and missed one day...
▪️If you want to see the event, I recommend the opposite bank of the venue----
3 recommended points①You can see the whole view from the venue side②You can get a good view of the balloons flying in※Depending on the wind direction, you can see them flying well③You can see the reflection of the river※Since you are looking at it from both sides of the river, you can see the reflection of the balloons in the river wellThe place to see it is the orange frame part in the 8th picture, and you will take the route indicated by the red arrow. It is a 20-minute walk downstream from the venue (opposite the railroad tracks) is recommended

To see a more beautiful reflection, you can get a better view closer to the water surface🪞But that is a battle point for great photographers‼ ️Many people reserve spots before dawn. The parking lot opens at 5am on weekdays and 3am on holidays, but it's often taken even if you go at those times, so if you don't want to go that far, try watching from the bank! ☝️Points I don't really want to tell you① Also, if you're reserving a spot on the riverbank, one wrong step will put you in the water. I didn't fall in, but I did put one foot in lol

[We recommend using the riverside parking lot from the Ogi City side] The riverside parking lot has two entrances across the road, but the entrance from the Saga City direction is extremely crowded 😫 If you are coming from the Saga City direction, we recommend that you make a U-turn and cross that entrance to line up at the opposite entrance ☝️ A point that I don't really want to tell you ② The riverside parking lot is 1,000 yen per car, and the others are free
