Wat Phra That Narai Cheng Weng, Ban That, Tambon That Na Weng, is a chedi consisting of a single prang. Built of sandstone on a large laterite base, the stone is carved with patterns. The name of the temple is believed to derive from the Khmer word "Narai Cheng Weng," meaning "Long-Legged Vishnu," due to the carving of a reclining Vishnu on the ocean on the northern side of the temple. The temple's layout includes a "Krabhagriha" (a room housing a Shiva idol, possibly a lingam).

According to the legend of the Urangkadhatu, when Phra Maha Kassapa brought the Urangkadhatu from India, Phraya Suwannaphingkar wished to share the relics with the nation. He therefore prepared a tunnel to enshrine the relics in advance. He ordered the male and female members of the townspeople to compete to build the tunnel within one night. The first to complete the tunnel would have the Urangkadhatu enshrined as the Great Relic. The man built Prasat Phu Phek in competition with the woman who built Prasat Narai Jeng Weng. Both sides agreed that if Venus (Phra Phek) rose, construction would stop. During the construction, the woman devised a trick by hanging a lantern on the high peak, which misled the man, mistaking it for Venus and halting construction. Thus, Prasat Narai Jeng Weng was the only completed temple.
