Tian Song Pi Cultural Park - Sanxing Township, Yilan County

After finishing a three-day, two-night trip to Wuling Farm, we drove to Tian Song Pi Station, arriving around noon. We decided to take a short break here to rest both ourselves and the car. Tian Song Pi Station, built in 1921, was originally part of the Taiping Mountain Forest Railway and served as a midway stop between Sanxing and Qingshui Lake. Back then, it primarily transported timber from Taiping Mountain while also offering passenger services. In 2001, the Yilan County Government renovated the station, which is now one of the few remaining wooden railway stations in Taiwan. The park also offers a paid mini train ride that circles the area. Thanks to regular maintenance, the wooden station building looks quite modern and shows little sign of aging. This location has also been featured in idol dramas, attracting fans who come to take photos and check in. Although the park is not very large, after a brief rest, we were ready to head to Su'ao to satisfy our hunger, as everyone was feeling quite famished by then. (20210816)
