In Sanya!!! This affordable hotel is truly amazing to stay at

When vacationing in Sanya, hotel selection is paramount. Among the Edition, Mandarin Oriental, St. Regis, and Park Hyatt in my favorites, I ultimately chose The Sanya EDITION. I chose it because it's perfect for a pure vacation, offers excellent service, has sea-view rooms and balconies, a large and photogenic pool, isn't overly crowded, isn't primarily known for its family-friendly features, and can meet all your dining, accommodation, and travel needs in one place.

On previous trips, I was full of reluctance when leaving Mandarin Oriental, regretted arriving too late at Park Hyatt Sanya Sunny Bay, and after leaving Park Hyatt, arriving at The Sanya EDITION in Haitang Bay, I similarly wished I had come earlier. Although I arrived late, the hotel's thoughtful arrangements still made me feel incredibly warm. Sanya's comfort and coziness made me secretly resolve to work hard back home and return again in the future.

🏘️Room Types/Layout:
If you plan to stay, the priority order for room types is: All suites except the 79 sqm Ocean View Studio Suite > 79 sqm Ocean View Studio Suite > Ocean View Room > Welcome Ocean Room > Deluxe Ocean View.
Except for the 79 sqm Ocean View Studio Suite, all other suites have a butler who will add your contact details one day in advance to provide full service, and the room will also be prepared with welcome champagne and fruit.
Odd-numbered Deluxe Ocean View rooms mostly offer views of the hotel garden, construction site, and a partial sea view; even-numbered rooms primarily feature sea views and Crowne Plaza hotel views.
The rooms with the best views are located above and on both sides of the hotel lobby, with room numbers 01-40.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
Room amenities are reliable and of high quality, and the provided Le Labo toiletries are excellent. Marriott Platinum members and guests staying in deluxe suites can request a set of toiletries from the hotel.
The hotel has 4 pools, each with its own unique features: the Sky Pool on the 12th floor is a popular photo spot, the Beach Club Pool is suitable for photo ops, and the Main Pool is very spacious.
The gym is well-equipped with a full range of machines.
Though not primarily family-oriented, it also provides ample children's entertainment facilities to meet the needs of young guests.

🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene:
Room hygiene is good, cleaning is thorough, and soundproofing ensures a quiet living environment, making for a comfortable stay.

Service and Dining:
Service is meticulous and responsive, striving to meet all kinds of requests, even small 'freebie-seeking' demands might be granted.
Breakfast is rich and delicious, a standard worthy of praise for a five-star hotel. Additionally, the hotel offers various dining options such as a seafood buffet, barbecue bar, and Western cuisine. However, the overall prices for in-house dining are on the higher side (from a working-class perspective).

💗Other tips:

- The hotel offers picturesque views at every turn, with a stylish design, making it perfect for taking photos.
- Recommended photo spots: The popular photo spot in the hotel lobby on the first floor, the lime figurines next to the front desk and the spiral staircase nearby; the entrance of the Beach Club on the G floor, the booth seating next to the bar, and the mesh loungers; the Sky Bar afternoon tea and the Sky Pool popular photo spot on the 12th floor.
- Hidden perks: When checking in, you can ask if a coconut with the hotel's logo can be provided as a welcome fruit, which is great for photo ops; the room key card is made of wood, and you can take it with you as a souvenir after check-out; late check-out service may be offered depending on hotel availability; guests in standard rooms can boldly ask staff if Le Labo travel-sized amenities can be provided, and they will assist with the request based on the situation; when booking through a third-party agent, remember to confirm if Marriott Platinum benefits are included (such as welcome champagne, executive lounge access, etc.); you can call housekeeping in advance to arrange a bubble bath time for the evening.
- Small reminders: The hotel does not have an underground parking lot, and the parking lot is about 200 meters from the lobby; there is no private beach, it shares the beach with the neighboring Westin and Holiday Inn hotels; the mini-bar in standard rooms has clearly marked prices.

Overall, The Sanya EDITION, with its excellent service, outstanding environment, and rich facilities, is a great destination for a Sanya vacation, especially suitable for travelers who seek high quality and enjoy taking photos.
