We've long known that parks in China are always beautiful, convenient, and interesting. Especially in a real tropical jungle.
Tropical Paradise is located in Yalong Bay in the mountains. It's easy to get to—by bus or taxi—and tickets are inexpensive (we bought a trip combo with a suspension bridge, 5D cinema, and a park ride for 2,060 rubles per person).
The park is absolutely beautiful! And the views from the top are probably some of the best we've seen on the island. We started our tour with a walk on the suspension bridge—it's awesome, guys, not as scary as the glass bridges (unfortunately, it's closed due to the typhoon), but it's still a thrill. The wind rustles the leaves, and from somewhere below, you can hear the trill of cicadas and the cries of tropical birds.
A separate attraction is the car ride from one point to another in the park. It's a breeze and offers breathtaking views.
There's a cafe at the very top; we recommend grabbing a couple of cocktails and taking in the local beauty. The contrast is especially noticeable there: on one side is the jungle, rustling trees and the scent of resin, and on the horizon is the turquoise sea.
Activities include a zipline (we didn't try it), various beautiful photo spots, and a 5D cinema (not particularly impressive, but good enough for a one-time visit). Much of the park was still being restored after the typhoon; even the entire orchid area—in our opinion, the most beautiful—was closed. But even so, we had plenty of impressions, and we really enjoyed it!
Seeing Hainan from a different perspective, walking through the forest, listening to the sounds of the jungle, and sipping a cold drink at the summit—it's definitely worth a visit to "Tropical Paradise."
