I've had this most beautiful weekend last winter. It was short and practically spent in Sapporo. What works for it is that Sapporo is stunning in the winters. Head to Odori park and see the Sapporo snow festival, you'll know for yourself.

There are plenty of places to touch like the Hokkaido shirine, the clock tower, the beer museum , tanukukoji street, shiroi kobito park, Niko market and so on.

Not to forget the ramen as well. Food is never left out when you're on a trip to anywhere in Japan. Sapporo might be slightly pricier to get to, but it's a beautiful winter weekend gateway that awaits you.
