โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿœ Sapporo Day Trip: New Chitose Airport โ†’ Susukino

Most Sapporo trips begin at New Chitose Airport. It's more than just an airport; it's a shopping and food paradise. With local Hokkaido brand souvenirs, a Royce chocolate shop, and character shops like Dragon Ball and Hello Kitty, exploring the airport alone can be quite time-consuming. You can also try Sapporo miso ramen at Ramen Street, also known as Ramen Hell (ใƒฉใƒผใƒกใƒณ้“ๅ ด).
๐Ÿ“ Address: 987-22 Bibi, Chitose City, Hokkaido

Take the JR Rapid Airport Train from the airport to Sapporo Station in about 40 minutes. From there, transfer to the subway to Susukino. Susukino is Hokkaido's representative downtown area and one of Japan's top three entertainment districts. With its neon-filled streets and countless izakayas, ramen shops, and bars, Sapporo is a perfect place to enjoy the nightlife. Susukino Ramen Yokocho is a must-visit. Lined with ramen shops in narrow alleys, it offers a taste of authentic Sapporo miso ramen.

In Susukino, we also recommend trying Jingisukan (lamb dish) with Sapporo beer. In the evening, take a short trip to the Sapporo TV Tower or Odori Park for a nighttime view. Starting in New Chitose and ending in Susukino is a perfect way to capture the essence of Sapporo.
