Hoheikyo Onsen, located in Jozankei, Hokkaido, is a popular day-trip hot spring facility situated in Minami Ward, Sapporo City. It is approximately an hour away from Sapporo City by bus. The most notable feature of this onsen is its commitment to using 100% natural spring water without any added heating or water, allowing visitors to enjoy a natural hot spring known as the 'beauty bath.' Particularly remarkable is the expansive open-air bath, one of the largest in Japan, designed by a Japanese garden artist. This bath offers a stunning view of the majestic seasonal landscapes while soaking in the hot spring. Please note that photography is not allowed within the onsen.
