The Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) is located in Seattle Center. Designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, the museum is made of metal, with an avant-garde shape that looks like a broken electric guitar, making it one of the city's landmarks. The museum is also close to other famous check-in spots in Seattle, such as the Seattle Light Rail Station, so you can go there when planning your itinerary.
MoPOP has a collection of more than 85,000 pop culture-related exhibits, covering a variety of themes such as music, science fiction, fantasy, horror movies, and video games. The museum displays precious items from Seattle rock legends such as Nirvana and Jimi Hendrix, as well as movie props, manuscripts, and costumes. In addition, the museum has an interactive exhibition area for visitors to experience the history of rock instrument performance and games, and hosts a number of public activities and educational programs to promote the development and exchange of pop culture. As someone who pays attention to Korean culture, I was surprised that the museum includes the support culture of famous Korean groups such as blackpink.
Although MoPOP is a museum, its layout and planning can attract you to explore it continuously. Many text panels are also incredibly accurate in describing and reflecting on popular culture. It is a good immersive experience space. #SeattleAttractions #SeattleMuseum
