Beautiful Sam Poo Kong

Sam Poo Kong in Semarang is a fascinating place with rich history. The temple showcases beautiful architecture and mix cultural heritage from Chinese and Javanese style. There's also a statue of Zheng He, a Chinese traveler and mariner here.

Between 10 AM to 2 PM here will be super hot. But you lso can enjoy several Semarang culinary (including various ice) to reduce the heat feeling. You can also rent imperial Chinese costume to take photos here (with additional fee). The entrance fee for weekdays is IDR 15,000 for Indonesian adult, and IDR 25,000 for international visitors.

How to go there :
Using Public transportation, BRT (Semarang City Bus) corridor 5 and get off at Sam Poo Kong bus stop. You need to walk 200 meters to the attraction.
