Cherry Blossoms at Tohoku University

In the spring, the weather is slightly cool as you step into Tohoku University in Sendai. The campus is adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, with pink flowers decorating the historic buildings and green avenues, making the century-old institution look like a picturesque poem. Walking along the cherry blossom avenue, the branches intertwine to form a natural floral corridor. As the breeze blows, petals fall like rain, adding a gentle spring touch to this academic sanctuary. Groups of teachers and students can be seen, some reading quietly under the cherry trees, others strolling along the campus paths, enjoying the brief yet splendid cherry blossom season. At the Katahira campus, the full bloom of cherry blossoms intertwined with the vintage Western-style buildings creates an elegant scene, as if time has turned back to the early days of Tohoku University. In the afternoon, sitting on a bench, gazing at the cherry blossoms and the distant green mountains, one can feel the unique tranquility and poetry of this institution. As the sun sets, golden light falls on the cherry trees and red-brick buildings, sketching a warm spring picture. I take a deep breath of the cherry blossom fragrance, cherishing this springtime campus dream, and look forward to visiting Tohoku University again next year to spend time with the cherry blossoms and relive the youthful moments.
