Akiu Great Falls is one of Japan’s most stunning waterfalls, and standing at the viewing platform, I could feel the power of the water crashing into the gorge below. Surrounded by dense greenery, the air was fresh and cool, filled with mist. I hiked down to a closer viewpoint, where the roar of the falls drowned out everything else. It was a reminder of nature’s raw force and beauty. Far from Tokyo’s hustle, this was the kind of spot that reconnects you with the earth. Truly refreshing and humbling. #mytraveldiary
