【Miyagi】Sendai Izakaya Nonbei

Although it's a bit far from Sendai Station, we decided to visit this popular local izakaya. The interior has a retro yet cozy atmosphere, making it a welcoming spot for families as well.✨

They offer a selection of about 10 carefully curated types of sake. The sashimi is absolutely delicious! The dishes are quite generous in portion size.

The hagi sashimi served with liver-infused soy sauce was outstanding! This portion is for two people. The flounder sashimi, however, was a bit too soft, which was a slight letdown. The gizzard, octopus tempura, and karaage were all fantastic! The portions of the yaki udon and doria were impressively large. Another great point is the reasonable pricing.
