Eating seafood while looking at the Seongsanil Peak — 일출봉거북식당

After leaving the hotel in the morning, I planned to go to Seongsan Sunrise Peak to see the scenery, but because of the rain and thick fog, I had to have lunch a little earlier. But sometimes you can be surprised when you accidentally stumble into a restaurant.

The restaurant doesn’t have beautiful decoration and feels very down-to-earth. Jeju is a country that lives by the sea, so the main dish is seafood and the price is very affordable. As soon as we sat down, we were served seven appetizers. This is one of the reasons why I like Korean food. Unfortunately, Korean restaurants in Hong Kong usually only have one or two options. Since I wasn't very hungry, I only ordered pancakes and seafood hotpot. The pancakes are crispy, with a nice aroma of chives and dough, and with some soy sauce, they are really delicious. The abalone in the seafood pot was still moving, and there were a lot of other seafood, all very fresh, plus a lot of vegetables, it was a super satisfying meal.

Finally, here is a photo of Seongsan Sunrise Peak covered by heavy fog.
