Naksan Park 🏞️

#seoul

Despite the hot weather, we took a bus to Naksan Mountain Trail, a place I had always wanted to visit after seeing it in dramas. However, the high temperatures made it challenging to fully appreciate the beauty of this location.

Naksan Mountain got its name because it resembles the shape of a camel. At only 100 meters in elevation, it served as a guardian mountain during the Joseon dynasty.

The Seoul Fortress Wall, which was built with solid granite bedrock to protect against enemies, is the most iconic landmark along the trail. It stretches for two kilometers from the Seoul City Wall (part of the Naksan Mountain Trail) to Ihwa Mural Village, and then continues downhill to Dongdaemun.
