If you enter the narrow, secret alley, there are many Galchi-jorim restaurants. Among them, the oldest is the original restaurant, Hee-rak Galchi:)
It is said that it has been featured on many TV programs as a famous restaurant and that there is a long line on weekends. If you visit on a weekday afternoon, you can eat leisurely. I ordered Galchi-jorim and Codfish Seasoned Grilled Fish, and the seasoned grilled fish tastes like Gangjeong. Galchi-jorim and two bowls of rice were a breeze! It is not a very special or great taste, but it was a simple and neat meal that made my day full! If you visit Namdaemun Market, I recommend a meal at Heerak Galchi :)
