Enjoy a coffee break in a Western-style building overlooking Gwanghwamun since 1926

#0yentripnovember

This Western-style building located at the intersection of Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul was built in December 1962 and was used as the Dong-A Ilbo office building until 1992. It is designated as a tangible cultural heritage by the city of Seoul

It is currently a museum, and the first floor is used as CAFE IMA

The exterior and interior are antique and still retain the charm of the time, which is very nice

When going to the restroom, you have to climb the stairs, and the handrails and other parts are stylishly designed. The decoration of the entrance door is also modern

Unfortunately it was raining that day, but that also created an indescribable atmosphere

I ordered a waffle 🧇 for dessert at the cafe. What surprised me was the size of the drink cups!! It was so heavy that it was hard to carry, and I thought it was typical of Korea ^_^ You can enjoy it at your leisure

11am (12pm on weekends) - 6:30pm
Across the street from the traffic light at Gwanghwamun Square, in the building on the corner
152, Seojun-de-ro, Jongno-gu, Seocho-dong, Seoul
