Walking through the grand gates of Gyeongbokgung Palace feels like stepping into a living history book. As the largest and most iconic of Seoul’s Five Grand Palaces, Gyeongbokgung is a breathtaking symbol of Korea’s Joseon Dynasty. I visited on a crisp autumn morning, and the sight of the palace’s intricate architecture against a backdrop of fiery fall foliage was nothing short of magical.
