Ikseon-dong One-Day Tour

A day that made me wonder if Seoul had such leisure.

A sweet stroll began at the entrance of Seosunla-gil with a Ramiscone croffle.

A bite of ice cream atop a croffle, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside,
made me feel light from the morning.

As I walked toward Ikseon-dong,
hidden souvenir shops in every alley began to open, as if stretching.

As I picked up small items like small glasses, scented candles, and postcards,
my wallet felt lighter and my heart strangely filled.

With a face brimming with excitement,
I entered the Insaengneun 4-cut booth and struck an artificial pose.

Even the playful and messy expressions left behind under the click of the shutter
eventually became a record of the day, bringing laughter.

And then I slowly walked through the alleys of Ikseon-dong again. The tiled roofs of Hanok houses, old signs, and swaying brick roads...

Late afternoon sunlight streams down,

and my day, streaming through the gaps, feels like I've become the main character in a movie.

"A place that becomes special even without doing anything special."

Ikseon-dong was like that.
