The Rushar Grand Mosque in Huangzhong County is located in Qingzhen Lane, Rushar Town, Huangzhong County, Qinghai Province. Construction began during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty and was completed around 1783. The mosque's main prayer hall covers 1,375 square meters, including a 340-square-meter old prayer hall and a 1,035-square-meter new hall. It can accommodate over 2,000 people for worship simultaneously and is a key venue for Muslims in the Rushar region.

The new hall was completed in 2002. It is 32 meters deep from east to west, 36 meters wide from north to south, and 17 meters high. It is integrated with the Jiu Da Dian and is a wooden classical building. The main body has seven turns and nine rooms, and the kiln hall has three turns and five rooms, with outer corridors on both sides. The inside and outside of the hall are decorated with more than 300 large and small wooden carvings, including flowers, landscapes, shellfish, fruits, grains, geometric patterns, Arabic and Chinese calligraphy. In the middle of the dome of the kiln hall, there is a wooden octagonal umbrella hanging. Its craftsmanship is ingenious, the carvings are fine, the image is lifelike, and the style is elegant.
