[Seoul] Right in the middle of a tourist spot?! 3 hidden back alleys to explore ♪

Hello everyone! 🙌
I'm Atchan, and I love Korean food and city walking.

Today, I'll introduce three alleyway restaurants with a slightly local feel that you wouldn't expect to find in the middle of a tourist area. ✨
Of course, the food is delicious, and these are my favorite places I've returned to time and time again. 😊

① Myeongdong [Halmonijipu]
199-18 Euljiro 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul
Hours: 11:00-24:00, Saturdays: 15:00-22:00
Closed Sundays
💖 A long-established restaurant popular for its samgyeopsal and kimchi jjigae.
You can order individual servings of kimchi jjigae. 👍
This is a super local restaurant right in the heart of Myeongdong, but with almost no tourists around. ✨

② Jongno 3-ga [Gerim]
Jongno, Seoul 167, Jongno 3-ga, Jongno-gu
Hours: 11:30 AM - 9:45 PM (Breakfast available from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM)
Closed Sundays
💖A renowned gem of a restaurant specializing in spicy chicken stew.
The chicken simmered in a rich, red garlic broth is addictive.✨The ramen soaked up the broth is also amazing.😆
Finish off your meal with some bokkeumbap (fried rice).♡

③ Shindang [Angyeong Harmonyko Makchang]
522, Hwanghak-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul
Hours: 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
💖A popular makchang restaurant with an addictive chewy texture.✨
The area around this restaurant is known as Gopchang Street, and while there are several similar restaurants, this one is said to be the original.
This popular restaurant sees more and more customers as the night progresses.♪
