Korea/Seoul [Namdaemun] A popular restaurant with long queues on Kalguksu Street 💕

Myeongdong is one of Seoul's bustling shopping districts, perfect for a one-stop dining, entertainment, and fun-filled experience. Street food like spicy tteokbokki, garlic bread, and various seafood skewers are fragrant, and the dazzling array of Korean beauty and clothing stores will keep you coming back for more.
Starting around 3:00 PM, street performances and a dazzling array of stalls make this a must-see destination in Korea!
Since this was my first time in Korea, I had originally planned to visit Gangnam first on my five-day, four-night trip and then wander back to Myeongdong for a leisurely stroll. However, as soon as I exited the subway station, I was completely swept away by the Taipei night market vibe. Myeongdong is a place where the trendiness of Japan meets the rustic charm of Taiwanese night markets!
Being a solo traveler, I couldn't eat much, but I really recommend the tteokbokki sold by an elderly woman near Exit 6. (The last photo) The sauce is rich, with just the right amount of sweet and spicy flavor, and it's truly delicious 🤤⋯⋯
Because of Myeongdong, I'm thinking of visiting Korea again. I hope to have a week to explore the other small restaurants there.
Travel Tips
Accommodation: Myeongdong
Recommendation: Located in the heart of Seoul, transportation is very convenient. It's two stops from Seoul Station, making for quick and easy airport transfers. Getting to Gangnam (Starfield Library) takes about 30 minutes. Namdaemun is a 10-minute walk. Transfers to Dongdaemun take less than 20 minutes. Hongdae and Sinsa are recommended for a return trip on your last day (as they're in the same direction as the airport).
Wish you a pleasant trip!
