In the southeast of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, China, and 2 kilometers north of Yintan Tourist Resort, there is a towering mountain among the rolling hills. It looks like an immortal sitting cross-legged, with a neck, head, hands and feet, a big belly, and a relaxed expression. This is Duofu Mountain, which was once called "Little Taishan" by Bixia Yuanjun.
The scenic area is planned to be divided into six functional areas: "One Heart" - comprehensive service center, "One Town" - Lucerne Health Town, "Four Districts" - Taoist prayer area, Zen meditation experience area, forest leisure area, and hot spring resort area.
Duofu Mountain, a renowned mountain of Buddhist and Taoist culture since ancient times, is known as the "Little Mount Tai." The Duofu Mountain Temple Fair is renowned and influential in the Jiaodong region. Starting on the 15th day of the fourth lunar month each year, it lasts for three days. The fair draws a constant stream of visitors, primarily from the three northeastern provinces, Hebei, Henan, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, sometimes reaching crowds of up to 100,000.
It has a temperate continental semi-humid monsoon climate with distinct four seasons, moderate cold and hot seasons, synchronized light and temperature, and simultaneous rain and heat. Spring is dry and windy, summer is hot and rainy, autumn is sunny and refreshing, and winter is cold and snowy.
