Auntie Aom is complaining... Follow the history of kimchi at the Kimchikan Museum 🥬🥕🥒 located in Insadong. Of course, it's a food I grew up with, thanks to the Dae Jang Geum series that made it known worldwide. When eating Korean food, a must-try is kimchi. My niece wanted to learn about the history and making of kimchi, so she came to this museum. There's a large LED screen where you can view information, take photos with kimchi, use a microscope to observe microorganisms, and see the bowls and plates used for kimchi fermentation. The props are adorable. There's also a coloring and drawing area to stimulate your imagination. There's also a kimchi-making workshop. Unfortunately, I missed the workshop, which was a shame. It's perfect for kids, and they enjoyed learning about the history of kimchi. I highly recommend visiting. There's also a child-priced admission ticket.
