Deok Su Palace is your low-key must-see spot in Seoul for those chill fall vibes! This hidden gem sits right in front of Seoul City Hall (Address: 99 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul), and it's crazy convenient—literally a few steps from the City Hall Metro Station (Lines 1 & 2). No complicated commutes here.
Catch the iconic guard changing ceremony at the palace entrance (daily at 11am & 2pm, each about 15 minutes). You can get so close to the action and snap all the pics of those vibrant hanbok outfits—seriously, the details are next-level!
Go for a stroll and soak up that gorgeous autumn foliage scattered all around the palace grounds. If you’re pressed for time, the whole walk takes less than an hour. But if you’re an art buff, peek into the temporary exhibitions for a bonus culture hit.
Not in the mood to trek out to all the major palaces? Deok Su Palace is perf for a mini palace walk that feels just magical enough. And don’t miss the stone walls alley on the right of the main gate—a total goldmine for Instagram shots.
Entry hours: 9am to 9pm (last admission 8pm)
Let’s be real—#falladventures are way better when you mix history with those spicy autumn colors. Pack your phone and get ready for a dose of royal Seoul!
