✨Things to know before visiting Shanghai Disneyland

Today, I'd like to share some things you should know before going to 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, in case anyone is looking for information about traveling.

⭐️Choose to go on a weekday And it doesn't coincide with Chinese holidays. There aren't many people. Like we went on December 20, 2024, which was not very crowded. The queue for the rides wasn't very long.

⭐️You can buy tickets in advance (𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱) in advance. The price will be cheaper than buying before entering or at the event. You can buy through various convenient apps. You can compare prices again.

⭐️We bought tickets through 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 for 1,922 baht/person and got a free 35 yuan food coupon. This food coupon ticket You can use it to buy food in the park (except in the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 zone). The ticket you get from 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 will be a code. Take the code to enter in the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 app. On the day of your visit, you can open the app to show the officer + show your passport. ⭐️ 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀 card (price 149 yuan) You can buy it through the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 app (You can buy it 7 days in advance). For those who want to collect a lot of rides (we can easily ride some rides twice) + like taking pictures at many spots, it's worth it. You'll be able to enter the park about 60-90 minutes before it opens. On the day we went, the park opened at 8:30 and we got in at 7:20.

⭐️Download the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 app and turn it on. Sign up for membership. The app has map information, waiting times for rides, and show times. It's very useful.

⭐️For those who are into collecting dolls, don't forget to press the lottery draw when you enter the park. To receive special privileges to purchase the special collection of Linnabelle dolls, there will be characters that are not generally available for purchase. Randomly press the word 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄 in the app.

. ⭐️ Personally, I think the price of the headpiece or any trinkets is quite high compared to other Disney. There are fake ones for sale outside along the way into the park. Don't accidentally buy it.

⭐️Recommended food: Go to the 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗻 zone (don't forget to keep your ticket for entry and exit). The food is cheaper than inside. There are many to choose from, including 𝗛𝗲𝘆𝗧𝗲𝗮 tea, 𝗣𝗼𝗽 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁

⭐️𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲 Winter theme parade, very cute, there are 2 rounds: 14:15 and 18:15, each round of the show is different. This theme will be available until February 21, 2025. Anyone who goes during this period will definitely have a blast.
. ⭐️𝗜𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Fireworks will be set off at around 9:15 p.m. The lights and colors are so beautiful and impressive. I almost cried while watching. If you want to wait, I recommend booking a spot half an hour before the show starts. I recommend the spot by the small bridge by the river. You can book a spot by the fence. No one will block you. You will be able to enjoy the fireworks to your heart's content. But who will come to watch this spot? It is recommended to book a seat at least 1 hour before the show starts. Chinese people fight hard. Even 2 hours before the show, they already came to book a seat.

⭐️We took the 𝗗𝗜𝗗𝗜 to go there. It costs about 78 yuan each way (from Nanjing area). We split it with 4 friends. It is very worthwhile and convenient. The ride takes about 45 minutes. Or if anyone takes the 𝗠𝗥𝗧 line 11, get off at 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁 station, you can do it.

⭐️Tripods, selfie sticks, or LED lights are not allowed. If you accidentally bring them, there are lockers for you to store your belongings (there is a service fee). As for water and snacks, you can bring them in.

If anyone goes to Shanghai, I recommend it. Don't miss this place. It's so cute, awesome, and makes me feel so happy. We stayed from the time the park opened until it closed, which took almost 15 hours. It was a long time, but we were so happy. 💖
