Shanghai and Suzhou, an unforgettable trip with family

We had 7 days and 6 nights in Shanghai with a day trip to Suzhou. Traveling with elderly and kids weren’t easy but we had a whale of time when exploring China with our own scheduled trip. We stayed 4 nights at Edition, 1 night in Toy Story Hotel and 1 night in Marriott. Everything was so wonderful and we would definitely come back to China to visit more places.

Here is some high level sharing for our plan:
Day 1
Landed in Shanghai, half day exploring Shanghai Nanjing Road and the bund area

Day 2
A day trip to Suzhou about 20mins ride on train

Day 3
宫宴 and The Pearl with deck admission ( we entered during evening to see the sunset and night view)

Day 4
Yu Yuen and Jing An Temple, a night ride with huangpu river cruise

Day 5
Half day Disneyland to check in Toy Story Hotel and watch fireworks at night

Day 6
Full day entry to Disneyland and check in to hotel near airport

Day 7
Check out and fly back
