Personally tested! Hilton Zhangjiang Science City, the top choice for business trips
Recently experienced the Hilton Zhangjiang Science City hotel, and overall it was very good, especially suitable for business travel. Sharing it with everyone.
Modern look, comfortable choice
🏢 The hotel’s overall decor is very modern, and the facilities are brand new. When I checked in, the hand soap in the room was still unopened. Although new renovations inevitably have some smell, it’s much better than when the Hilton downtown first opened. If you mind, just ask the front desk for an air purifier.
🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing is good, allowing me to rest quietly; the room cleanliness is well maintained, and you feel the tidiness as soon as you enter.
Room layout and surrounding environment
🏘️ Room type/Layout: For this location, the room size is relatively small. I stayed in a city view room, and the surroundings are mostly office buildings. Not very suitable for bringing kids to play, more suitable for business travelers.
Membership experience and lounge service
💎 I am a Diamond member, and it was a bit disappointing that I didn’t get a suite upgrade this time. However, the executive lounge’s performance was stable, with good control over food quality and ample fruit supply. The only downside is that the replenishment speed needs improvement. When I was there, there were only three or four tables occupied.
High-quality bathroom and thoughtful amenities
🛁 Amenities/Facilities: The bathroom experience was excellent! The shower water temperature was just right, water pressure sufficient, and the design reasonable so water doesn’t splash everywhere when opening the door. The towels are big and long, especially soft because they’re new—very few hotels have towels this comfortable. The room is also equipped with an air purifier, very thoughtful. During the opening period, the minibar’s first round is free, which is great.
Stylish breakfast, delicious and diverse
🍽 Breakfast was a big surprise! The restaurant decor is very stylish, a big change from the typical cafeteria style of most Hiltons. They offer Shanghai’s four signature dishes, with a rich variety and high quality. Items like egg pancakes and Jianbing Guozi come with larger portions and more condiments than other Hiltons. Just not sure if the quality will change once it gets busier after opening.
💰 Average cost per person: over 1000 RMB
💗 Other tips:
1. The hotel location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from Exit 2 or 1 of Xuelin Road Metro Station.
2. Check-in around 6 PM was very smooth.
3. The executive lounge offerings are average; guests with high expectations for lounge quality should check in advance.
4. Breakfast variety is not very extensive, somewhat simple, but the quality is good.
5. Staff rate bookings are for personal use only, no family or friends discounts.
Overall, the hotel quality is on point, the business travel stay experience is very good, and I recommend it to friends who need it!
