A tour to the highest point in Shanghai, Shanghai Tower

Top of Shanghai Shanghai Tower If you visit Shanghai and have time, you can stop by to enjoy the view from the highest point in the city 😁

📍Location: Shanghai Tower, Lujiazui District, Shanghai

🚊 Transportation: Take Metro Line 2 or Line 14 to Lujiazui Station. Walk towards the tall buildings; there is a McDonald's at the entrance. Follow the signs to the observation deck.

🕰️ Opening hours: 08:30 AM - 10:00 PM

🕔 Duration: Each visit lasts about 2 hours. We went up from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM and no staff asked us to leave. We stayed from daylight until the city lights turned on, each time offering a different kind of beauty.

🌃 Observation floors: 118th and 119th floors

💰 Average price per person: Adult ticket around 830 THB, student ticket around 520 THB

🎟️ Tickets: We booked through the Trip.com app and received a QR code to scan at the entrance.

🏖️ Environment/Facilities: There are restaurants and souvenir shops at the top. You can walk around and enjoy a 360-degree view. The elevator is super fast, reaching the 118th floor in no time. On the way down, there are souvenir shops as well.

💞 Why recommend: Perfect for those who love to see Shanghai’s cityscape at night. You can stay to watch the laser light show of the Oriental Pearl Tower and other buildings. Personally, I think the price is reasonable. If you want to see Shanghai’s beauty from another perspective, this is a must-visit.

❎ Caution: You might experience slight ear discomfort while riding the elevator. In the evening, crowds start to gather, so it’s best to book your ticket in advance around 6 PM ✨
