Shopping, Sights & Vibes – Fell in Loved with Every Bit of Shanghai!

In a train, on my way back to my home sweet home from Shanghai and it is a short trip but WOW! This city is seriously awesome. It’s got the perfect mix of modern city vibes and cool traditional spots. I was mainly there to explore and shop, and Shanghai did not disappoint!

We stayed at Nanjing East Road (The Bund area). Nanjing Road is like a shopping paradise — high-end brands, local finds, snacks everywhere — We could’ve spent all day there (and kind of did 😂). We also do shop at IAPM, Qiantan TaiKoo Li, Xitiandi etc. The price not cheap yet reasonable, worth the spend!

Besides the shopping, the city itself is just beautiful. The skyline at The Bund is 🤩. I also loved walking around the Nanjing Pedestrian Street and French Concession – super chill with cute cafés and boutiques.

Getting around was easy thanks to the metro and didi is cheap.

We tried a few halal eateries (Eli Falafel 4/5, House of Salar 3/5 (walking distance from Nanjing Road) and Secret Flavor @Qiantan Taikoo Li 5/5.

Shanghai stole my heart, already thinking of when is my next trip (with an extra days and suitcase next time 😉).
