Hanling Village is located on the south bank of Dongqian Lake, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the lake on one side. The beautiful natural scenery is intertwined with mountains and water. It is part of the Dongqian South Lake Scenic Area and is about 20 kilometers from downtown Ningbo. It boasts Hanling Old Street, known as the "First Ancient Street in Eastern Zhejiang."

The residents of Hanling Ancient Village live a leisurely life. The urban life in the mountains and lakeside has continued for thousands of years. Now you can still see villagers rowing boats in and out of the village from Dongqian Lake, demonstrating the "slow time in the past".

Hanling Village has two old streets: Front Street and Back Street, which run through the entire village. Commerce is concentrated on the Front Street, which stretches over 500 meters and is divided into Lower Street, Middle Street, and Upper Street. The village's thirty-odd shops are mostly concentrated on the Lower Street, which also features a stream flowing gently through its center. Originally paved with dark blue cobblestones, the street is now cemented. Otherwise, the Old Street retains its centuries-old appearance.
