🎈 Longhua Temple is an ancient temple in Shanghai, over 1,700 years old. It is one of the oldest and largest temples in Shanghai. This temple was built during the Three Kingdoms period when Sun Quan constructed it to dedicate to his mother. Originally, the temple was called Xiansi Temple and was later renamed Longhua Temple. The Bao'en Pagoda, a distinctive pagoda of this temple, is an ancient octagonal pagoda with 7 stories, built in 922 AD. It stands 40.4 meters tall and is an architectural style from the Song Dynasty. If you visit Shanghai, you must not miss the chance to admire its beauty and pay respects at the over 1,700-year-old Longhua Temple.
