Unexpectedly, Shanghai's old renovation project can also be a beautiful check-in spot - Yong'an Fang

Looking out from the hotel lobby glass window, I saw rows of neatly arranged red and white rooftops and was curious about what they were. After searching online, it turned out to be Yong'an Fang - a century-old Shikumen building, from which residents moved out years ago.

You can still see its exterior walls and balconies from the outside. Although very worn, you can still imagine its original beautiful appearance. The exterior walls are painted with many Shanghai landmarks, such as Wukang Building, Huxin Pavilion, Oriental Pearl Tower, etc., in a nostalgic style. Walking around the walls, looking and taking photos is truly enjoyable.

It is located on Yong'an Road, diagonally opposite the Bund Huajian Tang · Yuyuan. If you take Exit 7 of Yuyuan Station on Metro Line 14 to the Bund, turn from Renmin Road into Yong'an Road, you will pass by here. If interested, you can come to check in before dark and then head to the Bund.
