Jade Buddha Temple Shanghai, located in the Putuo District of Shanghai, was established in 1882. It features two white jade Buddha statues imported from Myanmar: a seated Buddha statue 1.9 meters tall and a reclining Buddha statue 96 cm long, which are the highlights of the temple.
The temple's architecture is in traditional Chinese style, with symmetrical halls and courtyards, inverted eaves, and bright saffron yellow walls. The atmosphere inside the temple is quiet and serene, perfect for worship and relaxation.
Additionally, the temple houses three beautiful golden Buddha statues and a lovely garden surrounded by large trees, providing visitors a sense of calm away from the city's hustle and bustle.
